Dr. Giao Nguyen graduated Magna Cum Laude with a degree of Doctor of Optometry in 1999 from the University of Houston College of Optometry. She also holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Chemical Engineering from Rice University (1986).
Dr. Nguyen has 4 children: Robin (a Chemical Engineering graduate from the University of Texas Austin), Leslie (an undergraduate student at Rice University), Chloe (also a Rice graduate), and Spencer (a student at Pershing School). She spends most of her spare time filling her middle-schooler's demands, and on her favorite hobby: knitting! She tries to stay healthy with yoga and pilates, dabbles in gardening occasionally, and watches the Foodnetwork channel, making notes of recipes that she will hopefully try some day.
